Karl Gheysen construction Expert

Karl Gheysen is a recognized specialist in the construction and real estate sector. In Belgium, he is regarded as the absolute reference in provisional deliveries, both within the framework of the Breyne Law and outside its scope. He is also active in Flanders for Expertnow and has experience with thousand provisional deliveries.

He began his career as a project manager, gaining seven years of hands-on experience. He then spent eleven years in commercial roles at HEIJMANS and DEMOCO. Later, he joined the BESIX Group as a project developer, before becoming General Manager at a property development company in Antwerp.

Over the years, he has developed a strong expertise in provisional handovers or deliveries, a field in which he stands out for his precision and attention to detail. What once started as a role “on the other side of the table” evolved into that of an independent Expert and, as the saying goes, from poacher to gamekeeper.

Thanks to his background as a project developer, Karl has built extensive field experience and possesses exceptional mastery of both the legal and technical aspects of handovers, even in complex cases. He is therefore a specialist in the Breyne Act (See the Law Breyne explained in more detail on this website). He also works as a construction Expert, specializing in detecting and resolving technical building issues.
